The Cricket Season is now only two weeks away!! Pre-season nets are continuing until at least the start of May and possibly beyond. Before the outdoor season kicks off we have an Indoor League Final to look forward to. The reserve team have reached the final for the 2nd time in three season, and we are hoping to eclipse the team which won the cup in 2005.
The final is at the Braintree Leisure Centre this Sunday at 7.30, please make an effort to come along and support the team.

Rayne Cricket Club is a village side based two miles outside of Braintree in north Essex. The Club has been in existence for over 100 years and currently boasts two league sides, a friendlies XI, three Indoor League teams, and an active youth section.
The league teams play in the T.Rippon Mid Essex League, with the 1st XI in Division 2 and the 2nd XI in Division 9. Sunday cricket is dedicated to friendlies with the teams made up of old heads and younger members just starting in senior cricket.
The youth section accommodates youngsters aged 6-16, and is recognised as the future of the club. Over the past year additional funds have been invested and this will continue over the coming years.
